Poorna Gottimukkula focused on maintaining and stabilizing the Fedora CoreOS configuration test suite, working within the coreos/fedora-coreos-config repository. Over two months, Poorna improved CI reliability by cleaning up the kola-denylist YAML configuration, removing obsolete test patterns and updating issue tracker references to reflect the latest release state. Using skills in configuration management and YAML, Poorna’s targeted changes reduced test noise, minimized false positives and negatives, and enhanced the accuracy of automated testing feedback. The work demonstrated careful attention to test hygiene and documentation, resulting in a more maintainable and reliable CI environment for Fedora CoreOS development workflows.
