Worked on the xynehq/xyne repository to enhance the chat search experience by enabling unread emails to appear in Vespa search results. This was achieved by removing the UNREAD label filter from the Vespa query within the chat.ts file, aligning backend logic with user experience expectations. The update improved user visibility of unread messages, supporting faster triage and response within chat workflows. The work demonstrated clear end-to-end traceability, delivered as a single commit, and focused on API development and backend development using TypeScript. No major bugs were addressed during this period, with efforts concentrated on targeted feature delivery and technical alignment.
