Worked on improving CI reliability for the avocado-framework/avocado-vt repository by addressing issues with NFS service setup across multiple Linux distributions. Focused on system administration and CI/CD processes, the developer identified and corrected a conditional in the NFS service initialization logic, ensuring that the service is properly detected and started regardless of the underlying distribution. This fix prevented CI failures related to NFS configuration, contributing to more stable and predictable automated testing environments. The work was implemented using Python and leveraged strong knowledge of Linux system services, demonstrating attention to cross-platform compatibility and the nuances of distributed system administration in CI pipelines.
