Worked on the microsoft/mu_tiano_platforms repository to deliver a major upgrade of MU_BASECORE, focusing on cryptographic enhancements and improved network error handling across multiple modules. Integrated 26 upstream commits, expanding cryptographic capabilities and strengthening provider versioning using C and Python. Enhanced unit test coverage for cryptography components and updated the BaseCryptLib with new protocol support. Improved CI/CD pipelines and Python tooling, while synchronizing updates across related repositories. Added support for 64-bit IoMmu operations and refined status code handling to boost reliability. The work increased platform security, maintainability, and observability, enabling more robust firmware images and streamlined future development.
