Developed hardware support for the NRadio C8-668GL router based on the MediaTek MT7981B platform within the coolsnowwolf/immortalwrt repository, focusing on robust device integration and upgrade reliability. The work involved creating device tree configurations, setting up network interfaces, mapping LEDs, and defining bootloader environments, all implemented in C and Shell. Integrated MediaTek Filogic stack changes to enable seamless operation and future extensibility for embedded Linux systems. Documented the integration process and provided maintainers’ notes to streamline ongoing support for MT7981B-based routers, ensuring a clear upgrade and deployment path for users adopting ImmortalWrt on new hardware.
