Delivered Terraform IaC documentation, standardized infrastructure practices via a monorepo approach, and introduced a new Athena workgroup configuration (dbt-coat-daily) to support COAT data processing in Athena. These efforts strengthen governance, reproducibility, and analytics readiness across two repositories.

Delivered an IaC-driven approach to GitHub repository provisioning and governance, enabling standardized, automated provisioning across the MOJ organization. Implemented a Terraform-based GitHub repository management solution with a new repository creation module, security controls (branch protection, secrets, secret scanning), and centralized repository definitions to ensure consistency and compliance. Conducted a modular refactor of the COAT GitHub integration to a unified Terraform module, enabling safer incremental migration. Introduced a toggle mechanism to enable/disable the Terraform module to support ongoing refactoring and clean integration. Updated Ways of Engineering documentation to provide Terraform IaC adoption guidance, enabling teams to provision resources reproducibly. Overall, the work reduces provisioning time and manual effort, strengthens security posture, and improves governance across repositories.

June 2025 performance summary for ministryofjustice/cloud-optimisation-and-accountability: Delivered FinOps dashboard enhancements that improve cost accuracy, governance, and decision-making. Specifically, implemented tax exclusion for cost calculations to prevent tax line items from distorting totals, and added Owner and Is Production tag-based filtering for granular cost visibility. These changes were delivered through two commits: f6dcd40297e0d72457bc9a4c66626a621dc61b10 (tax excluded) and 773310cf3342f796bfdf11e20827310a4bc9d59d (Owner tag). The work reduces misallocation risk, speeds up stakeholder reporting, and supports more reliable budgeting and chargebacks. Demonstrates proficiency in FinOps practices, tagging strategies, data filtering, and repository collaboration.
