Over a two-month period, contributed to the HackDavis/hackdavis-hub repository by building and refining an end-to-end judge-team matching and submissions system. Focused on algorithm design and optimization, the work included developing a matching engine that balanced expertise and workload, automated submission generation, and CSV export for streamlined scoring. Enhanced data structures and integrated robust error handling to improve reliability and maintainability. Leveraged TypeScript, Node.js, and React to modernize the data pipeline, update UI components, and support scalable contest workflows. Addressed both backend and frontend challenges, delivering features that improved data integrity, user experience, and the overall judging process.
