Worked on the HackDavis/hackdavis-hub repository to deliver the Starter Kit Blue Section UX Enhancements, focusing on improving user experience and accessibility. Developed an animated blue section using React and TypeScript, introducing visual transitions that enhance the interface’s responsiveness. Added support for both dark and light icons to improve contrast and usability across different themes, addressing accessibility needs. Created a custom hook in JavaScript for scroll management, enabling smoother transitions between responsibilities within the application. The work emphasized maintainable front end architecture, laying the groundwork for future enhancements while ensuring the codebase remains accessible and user-friendly for a diverse audience.
