Developed a unified content handling layer with improved cache control and prompt caching, enabling faster and more reliable model interactions. Introduced cache read/write token tracking and support for processing multiple system prompts, returning content as blocks for greater flexibility. Addressed reliability by enforcing HTTP/1.1 protocol usage for both synchronous and asynchronous AWS clients, improving compatibility and robustness. Fixed checkpoint handling to comply with Converse API rules and ensured multi-system prompts were processed correctly. Utilized Java, AWS SDK, and backend development skills throughout the implementation.
