Worked on the NIAEFEUP/website-niaefeup-frontend repository over two months, focusing on enhancing the navigation bar’s user experience and maintainability. Delivered a visual upgrade by implementing a gradient background and overlay using CSS and Svelte, ensuring the navbar remained prominent and accessible across dynamic layouts. Introduced a scroll-based shadow effect to add depth and further improve navigation clarity. Refactored CSS and Svelte class usage to simplify future changes and resolved lint issues to improve code quality and CI reliability. The work emphasized frontend development best practices, resulting in a more visually consistent, maintainable, and user-friendly navigation experience.
