During December 2024, Equable Cool developed a new map asset pack for the Source2ZE/Port-Vmaps repository, introducing Halloween House and Beach Camper environments. Their work focused on asset management and version control, utilizing Git Attributes and Git LFS to streamline large file handling and ensure consistent asset versioning. By updating existing vmaps and integrating new assets, Equable Cool improved loading reliability and storage efficiency within the asset pipeline. No production bugs were reported, reflecting a stable release. The expanded asset library supports richer gameplay and future campaigns, while the technical approach reduced long-term maintenance overhead and enhanced asset management workflows.
