Worked on enhancing the build process for the permaweb/ao repository by addressing a reliability issue in root directory detection within the build script. Applied Shell scripting skills to implement a robust solution using realpath, ensuring that the root_dir is accurately resolved regardless of whether the build runs in CI or local environments. This change improved build determinism and reduced failures caused by inconsistent execution contexts. The update also streamlined developer onboarding by making the build process more predictable and maintainable.
