Developed and integrated the JDI LPM013M126 RGB display driver within the zephyrproject-rtos/zephyr repository, expanding Zephyr’s support for memory-mapped RGB displays. The work involved implementing initialization, configuration, and write operations using C, leveraging Zephyr RTOS and SPI communication to ensure compatibility with the standard display driver framework. By defining device tree properties and hardware configurations, the driver streamlines onboarding of similar displays for future projects. This contribution enhanced the platform’s readiness for graphic-rich embedded applications, demonstrating a thorough approach to hardware abstraction and end-to-end workflow from device initialization through display data transfer within embedded systems development.
September 2025: Delivered the JDI LPM013M126 RGB display driver for Zephyr, expanding display hardware support and enabling initialization, configuration, and write operations within the standard display driver framework. This work enhances device readiness for graphic-rich applications and improves onboarding of RGB memory displays.
