In August 2025, Sam Readman enhanced the security posture of the companieshouse/ch.gov.uk repository by implementing a production configuration change focused on inter-service communication. Using Terraform and applying DevOps and Infrastructure as Code principles, Sam disabled service listeners for the officers and search components in the live-eu-west-2 environment. This adjustment reduced the potential for unintended access between services, limiting exposure and improving access control.
