Over six months, contributed to the facebook/OpenBIC repository by developing and stabilizing embedded firmware features for hardware management platforms. Focused on reliability and observability, the work included robust error handling for I3C initialization, enhancements to PCIe and CXL subsystem stability, and improvements in memory management and system monitoring. Leveraged C and Device Tree to implement driver updates, shell scripting for testing automation, and version control for synchronized multi-project firmware releases. Addressed critical bugs in ADC, PMIC, and event signaling, while introducing features such as I3C shell enhancements and stress testing, resulting in improved system uptime and streamlined release processes.
