Saran Anbalagan developed a manual-run icon feature for the harness/uicore repository, enhancing the Harness UI component library. By introducing a new SVG asset and updating HarnessIcons.ts using TypeScript, Saran enabled users to manually trigger workflows or pipelines directly from the interface. The work focused on front-end development and iconography, ensuring the new icon integrated seamlessly with existing UI components and adhered to the established design system. Although no bugs were fixed during this period, Saran maintained code quality and traceability, laying the foundation for future icon-driven actions and contributing to a more consistent and intuitive user experience.
