During December 2024, Sebastien Degodez enhanced the AxaFrance/design-system repository by integrating SonarCloud quality metrics badges directly into the project’s README.md. He used Markdown and CI/CD practices to surface key health indicators such as code smells, reliability, bugs, coverage, technical debt, security, and maintainability, enabling contributors and stakeholders to quickly assess project status. This update improved transparency and facilitated faster risk assessment during code reviews, aligning with governance requirements while requiring minimal ongoing maintenance.
