Worked on backend systems and migration tooling, focusing on performance and reliability improvements across two repositories. In skeletonlabs/skeleton, optimized the V3 migration script by introducing a guard in TypeScript to prevent unnecessary text replacements, which reduced CPU and IO overhead during large-file processing and enabled faster, more scalable migrations. In saleor/saleor, addressed a bug in the staff order confirmation email workflow by routing notifications through a dedicated payload function, ensuring correct delivery and adding regression tests for future reliability. Leveraged Python and TypeScript, emphasizing code optimization, migration scripting, and robust testing practices to enhance maintainability and system performance.
