Worked on the OneCommunityGlobal/HGNRest repository to enhance job search functionality by implementing a feature that enables case-insensitive search across both job titles and descriptions. Leveraging backend development skills with Express.js and Node.js, the solution improved the getJobs and getJobSummaries endpoints to support more flexible and user-friendly queries. Additionally, a summaries field was added to the createJob endpoint, allowing for richer job data to be stored and retrieved. This work aligned backend capabilities with frontend requirements, specifically addressing search enhancements linked to ongoing UI improvements. The project was developed entirely in JavaScript, focusing on REST API design and implementation.
