Worked on the awslabs/soci-snapshotter repository to improve container launch stability by addressing a regression in the FUSE layer that affected file-seek operations. Focused on restoring seek functionality in go-fuse after a library change, which had caused containers to fail when locating files during SOCI-enabled launches. The solution involved updating dependencies and managing Go modules to ensure compatibility and maintainability. Demonstrated expertise in bug fixing and dependency management using Go, resulting in a more reliable integration between SOCI and the snapshotter. This targeted fix enhanced deployment reliability and ensured that the container launch path remained stable for future updates.
