During March 2025, Shubhum worked on the awslabs/soci-snapshotter repository, focusing on stabilizing container launches that use SOCI. He addressed a regression in the FUSE layer by updating the go-fuse dependency, restoring seek functionality that had been disrupted by a recent library change. This targeted bug fix resolved failures in container file discovery during launch, directly improving deployment reliability and SOCI integration. Shubhum applied his skills in Go, bug fixing, and dependency management to deliver a maintainable solution with minimal code changes.
