The effort involved refactoring YAML configuration files by removing the 'windup' prefix and the '.windup' extension from rule IDs, aligning with updated naming standards for cloud readiness assessments. Leveraging configuration management and refactoring skills, the changes improved traceability through commit linkage and laid the foundation for future automation and governance. This work reduced configuration drift and enhanced searchability, ensuring that rule definitions remain consistent and easier to manage as the repository evolves to support broader cloud migration scenarios.
