Developed and refactored the Loom_VCNL4010 interface in C++, aligning it with the Adafruit library to ensure compatibility with updated dependencies and streamline sensor management. Improved maintainability by renaming classes and removing deprecated components, reducing technical debt. Addressed a data accuracy issue in the VCNL4010 sensor by updating measurement and packaging logic, resulting in more reliable ambient light and proximity readings. Validated changes against existing data pipelines, which improved environmental data integrity and supported more trustworthy analytics for downstream applications.

Delivered a bug fix to VCNL4010 ambient light and proximity measurements by updating measurement and packaging logic to correctly capture and log sensor outputs, resulting in more accurate environmental data and more reliable analytics in Loom-V4. The change was implemented with a single commit and validated against existing data pipelines, reducing data anomalies and increasing confidence in downstream dashboards.
