Worked on stability and debugging enhancements across codescan-io/sonarqube and scala/scala3 repositories. Upgraded DBD plugins in codescan-io/sonarqube by updating Gradle dependencies, which improved scan reliability and performance while enabling new analysis capabilities without disrupting user workflows. In scala/scala3, implemented support for legacy syntax in the debugger by introducing a configuration option and fixing expression evaluation under -old-syntax, ensuring consistent results for Scala 3 users maintaining older codebases. Automated tests were added to validate these changes and prevent regressions. Demonstrated skills in build management, dependency management, automated testing, and compiler design using Gradle and Scala.
Delivered Debugger: Old-Syntax Support with Config Option and Tests; fixed expression evaluation in debugger under -old-syntax and added automated tests to protect legacy syntax users, improving reliability for Scala 3 debugging on older syntax codebases.
