Worked on the SpaceToStudy-Client repository to enhance reliability and stability by addressing a runtime error in the FileUploader component. Focused on front end development using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, the approach involved removing the size and variant props from FileUploader to align its interface with child component expectations. This targeted cleanup not only resolved the immediate runtime issue but also simplified the component’s usage, reducing the potential for future bugs. The changes improved maintainability and developer ergonomics, making it easier to integrate file upload features in subsequent updates while lowering the maintenance burden for the codebase.
