Worked on the racehub repository to expand backend API capabilities, focusing on user management, authentication, and data compatibility. Delivered six new features, including a dorsal random generator and enhanced user endpoints, while addressing eight bugs related to authentication, routing, and data handling. Refactored the Symfony project structure to support Dockerization, improved repository hygiene, and updated environment configurations for smoother deployments. Applied skills in PHP, YAML, and Git to implement OpenAPI specifications, strengthen password security, and ensure robust version control. The work enabled faster integrations, improved security, and more maintainable code, supporting both business requirements and technical scalability.
