Worked on the google/blockly-samples repository to deliver a toolbox search enhancement focused on improving developer productivity and search accuracy. The project involved adding support for preset blocks and transitioning the search mechanism to use BlockInfo-based indexing, which allows for more precise matching, including the correct handling of shadow blocks. This technical approach addressed previous limitations in search results and laid the foundation for future improvements in preset libraries and advanced search features. The work was implemented using JavaScript and TypeScript, leveraging front end development skills and a deep understanding of Blockly’s architecture to improve both user experience and maintainability.
