Worked on the kivitendo/kivitendo-erp repository to address a rendering issue in financial document templates, focusing on improving the accuracy of department field displays across invoices, credit notes, proformas, statements, and payment reminders. Applied expertise in LaTeX and TeX to modify template logic, ensuring the second department field references billing_address_department_2 and appears only when relevant data is present. This targeted bug fix enhanced the consistency of customer-facing documents, reducing the risk of misinformation and support requests. The work demonstrated careful template development and modification, aligning document output with billing workflows and supporting clearer financial communications for end users.
