Developed a GNOME integration-ready application entry for Affinity by Canva within the winapps-org/winapps repository, focusing on enhancing cross-environment compatibility and user onboarding in GNOME desktop environments. The work involved creating and integrating GNOME metadata using Shell scripting, enabling seamless app discovery and launch for end users. By ensuring the entry was properly signed off and traceable, the developer maintained code quality and accountability. No bug fixes were addressed during this period, as the primary effort centered on feature delivery. This contribution laid the foundation for broader adoption of winapps by improving integration and discoverability in GNOME-based workflows.
