During September 2025, Tkn focused on improving the reliability of the OS test suite in the virt-s1/os-tests repository, specifically targeting AWS EFA-ENA environments. Addressing failures in the PingPong network tests caused by newer Linux kernels and multi-fabric configurations, Tkn delivered a targeted bug fix by explicitly selecting the correct EFA fabric within the test logic. This approach ensured that the tests consistently used the intended network interface, reducing flakiness and improving test stability. The work leveraged Python for test automation and required a strong understanding of AWS infrastructure, Linux networking, and network testing methodologies to resolve the underlying issue.
