Worked on the MissouriMRR/SUAS-2025 repository to improve repository hygiene and artifact management, focusing on long-term maintainability. Addressed a bug by updating the .gitignore configuration to wildcard-match generated files such as .onnx, .pt, and .yaml, ensuring these artifacts no longer clutter version control or disrupt CI/CD workflows. Removed an unused Jupyter Notebook related to YOLOv9 training and export, further streamlining the codebase. Utilized Python and Git to implement disciplined configuration management practices, documenting changes clearly for future contributors. The work emphasized clean repository practices and reduced noise in automated pipelines, supporting a more efficient development environment.
