Worked on the microcai/gentoo-zh repository to upgrade the Mamba package, focusing on stabilizing package management for evolving Python ecosystems. The approach involved updating Mamba to version 2.1.1, adjusting the slot to 0/3, and disabling Python 3.10 support to maintain compatibility with upcoming Python releases. Leveraged skills in build system configuration and package management, using Ebuild as the primary language. This work reduced the risk of breakage for Gentoo users during Python upgrades and preserved repository functionality, ensuring smoother upgrade paths and future modernization. No major bugs were addressed, with efforts concentrated on proactive compatibility and build stability.
