Worked on enhancing network protocol handling and containerization features across v2fly/v2ray-core and moby/buildkit. In v2ray-core, focused on improving QUIC traffic classification by refactoring the sniffer to handle multiple initial packets and introducing error handling for incomplete data, while also addressing memory leaks through improved cache lifecycle management. In buildkit, implemented Windows Hyper-V isolation support within the containerd executor, enabling more secure and isolated Windows workloads, and refactored code paths to clarify the hypervIsolation option. Leveraged Go for protocol implementation, memory management, and system programming, demonstrating depth in network programming and Windows internals through targeted, maintainable code changes.
September 2025 monthly summary: Implemented Windows Hyper-V isolation support in the containerd executor within moby/buildkit, enabling a dedicated hypervIsolation option to improve security and resource isolation for Windows workloads. Completed code refactor to rename the isolation field to hypervIsolation across code paths, enhancing clarity and maintainability. These changes position BuildKit for more secure, scalable Windows deployments and provide a clearer API for developers.
