Worked on enhancing deployment flexibility and reliability for the SigNoz/charts repository by addressing a NodePort exposure issue in the OpAMP service. Focused on DevOps practices and utilized Helm and Kubernetes, resolving a bug that previously caused misconfigurations in NodePort port assignments. Introduced support for custom NodePort configuration through Helm charts, which streamlines on-premises deployments and facilitates integration with external load balancers. The solution was implemented using YAML, improving the robustness of service exposure and reducing the risk of deployment errors. This work contributed to more reliable and adaptable deployment workflows for users managing SigNoz in diverse infrastructure environments.
