During November 2024, Junsen focused on improving the correctness and stability of the riscv-unified-db encoding database. He addressed a critical issue by updating the addiw.yaml file to ensure the Addiw instruction’s binary encoding matched the official specification, directly enhancing the reliability of downstream decoding and verification tools. Working within the riscv-software-src/riscv-unified-db repository, Junsen applied his expertise in Embedded Systems and Instruction Set Architecture, utilizing YAML to implement the fix. Although the work centered on a single bug, the targeted update contributed to improved data integrity and reduced risk in continuous integration and tooling pipelines for RISC-V development.
