Over a two-month period, contributed backend and database engineering to espressif/blowfish and Shubhamsaboo/LightRAG. Developed a configurable ownership-claim feature for RSS feeds in blowfish, introducing TOML-based feed and user ID options and updating multilingual documentation to clarify ownership flows. For LightRAG, implemented TiDB-backed storage solutions, including key-value and vector database integrations, and enabled persistent, scalable data handling for knowledge graphs. Leveraged Python, SQL, and SQLAlchemy to build new storage classes, demo scripts, and CI reliability improvements. The work focused on configuration management, database integration, and documentation, supporting scalable ownership management and enterprise-ready knowledge graph capabilities.
Month 2024-12: Delivered TiDB-backed storage options for LightRAG, enabling scalable, persistent data handling and enhanced knowledge graph capabilities, along with a practical demo to accelerate adoption. Also implemented a targeted fix to CI checks related to TiDB changes.
