Developed a Fish shell setup script for the Xilinx/XRT repository, enabling seamless configuration of XRT tools for users working in the fish shell environment. This work focused on shell scripting and system configuration, addressing the need for improved cross-shell compatibility and reducing onboarding friction for new users. By leveraging Fish and traditional shell scripting languages, the solution streamlined the setup process, aligning with ongoing efforts to enhance tooling usability. The implementation did not involve bug fixes but delivered a targeted feature that expanded support for alternative shells, making XRT tools more accessible and easier to configure for a broader user base.
