Worked on the Xilinx/XRT repository to address firmware packaging integrity, focusing on ensuring ERT firmware binaries were installed correctly within the base package. Applied targeted changes to the build system using CMake and C++ to update installation steps, specifically including ERTFW_FILES so that sched*.bin and related firmware files were placed in the correct directory structure. This fix improved the reliability and consistency of firmware deployment for end users, reducing the risk of missing files during installation. The approach emphasized minimal, low-risk modifications to facilitate future packaging improvements, demonstrating attention to detail in build systems and firmware development workflows.
