Over a two-month period, contributed to Azure/azure-sdk-for-java by implementing support for java.math.BigInteger and java.math.BigDecimal as simple types in Cosmos DB, addressing Java 17 reflection issues and improving large numeric data handling. This work included developing integration tests to ensure regression safety and compatibility for Java 17 deployments, using Java and Spring Data. Additionally, enhanced documentation for rust-lang/cargo by clarifying Git authentication errors related to incorrect repository URLs, particularly for public dependencies. The documentation update, written in Markdown, aligned with Cargo’s standards to improve developer onboarding and supportability, demonstrating a focus on maintainability and clear communication.
