Worked on security rule enhancements and build system improvements across two repositories. In jetmore/pmd, focused on refactoring the ApexSuggestUsingNamedCredRule to reduce false positives in Apex credential detection, introducing logic to distinguish between authorization and credential variables for more accurate vulnerability identification. This Java-based static analysis update led to cleaner security alerts and streamlined triage for credential management issues. Later, contributed to Shopify/nixpkgs by releasing Bitwarden Desktop 2025.5.0, updating Electron versions, dependency hashes, and platform triples to improve packaging stability and reproducibility. Demonstrated skills in Java, Nix, build systems, code refactoring, and security analysis throughout both projects.
