Worked on streamlining the encounter details user interface in the WildMeOrg/Wildbook repository by removing deprecated social sharing integrations. Focused on eliminating outdated features such as Twitter, Facebook, and Google Plus sharing buttons, along with associated JavaScript and HTML code. This front-end development effort, implemented using JSP and JavaScript, reduced the maintenance burden and improved security by aligning the platform with the sunset of unsupported social platforms. The UI cleanup not only simplified the codebase but also ensured compliance with evolving platform policies, demonstrating a methodical approach to web development and ongoing platform sustainability within a short project period.
