During November 2025, JJones developed two key export features for the WildMeOrg/Wildbook repository, focusing on data portability and maintainability. JJones built a new Encounter Images Export API that enables users to export encounter images with cropping and per-individual organization, packaging results in a structured ZIP file. The implementation leveraged Java, REST Assured, and JUnit for robust API development and testing. Additionally, JJones enhanced the Encounter Annotations Excel Export by adding a URL column, improving error handling, and refactoring export logic into a shared module. This work improved data quality, streamlined future enhancements, and strengthened backend code organization and reliability.
