
Worked on the castai/k8s-agent and castai/helm-charts repositories to deliver new Kubernetes features and improve operational workflows. Over three months, built CronJob resource support and expanded monitoring capabilities by extending the informer factory and updating tests, using Go and Kubernetes APIs. Introduced native Vertical Pod Autoscaler collection with unstructured resource handling, and enhanced RBAC permissions in Helm charts to strengthen governance. Enhanced the Recommendation specification with new fields for resource limits and container runtime configurations, adding deep copy functions for data integrity. These changes improved workload configurability, operational visibility, and deployment reliability across Kubernetes environments, demonstrating strong backend and DevOps skills.
