During their recent work on the mavlink/qgroundcontrol repository, Andrey Bulychev focused on improving the build system’s reliability for Arch-based Linux distributions. By enhancing CMake scripts, Andrey addressed a bug where GStreamer detection could fail due to nonstandard library paths. The solution involved adding a targeted check for the gstreamer-1.0 subdirectory within the library path, aligning the build process with Arch packaging conventions and preventing mis-detection.
