During October 2024, Bingbing contributed to the bkeepers/vueuse repository by implementing ElementUI and ElementPlus breakpoint support within the useBreakpoints composable. This work involved defining and exporting new breakpoints tailored for these UI frameworks, enabling consistent responsive behavior across projects using Vue.js. Bingbing documented the new breakpoints in Markdown and TypeScript, ensuring they are reusable and align with established design systems. The changes were backward-compatible, passed continuous integration checks, and required no bug fixes. By reducing the need for custom breakpoint maintenance, Bingbing’s work improved developer productivity and streamlined UI framework integration for teams adopting ElementUI or ElementPlus.
