During December 2024, Alal enhanced the bkeepers/vueuse repository by delivering two new composables focused on UI accuracy and accessibility. Leveraging TypeScript and Vue.js, Alal extended useWindowSize to support visual viewport-aware detection, utilizing the visualViewport API and resize listeners for precise mobile sizing. Additionally, Alal introduced usePreferredReducedTransparency, a composable that detects OS or browser-level reduced transparency preferences and exposes a reactive state for downstream use. The work emphasized maintainable, traceable code and improved cross-device layout consistency, accessibility support, and developer experience. No bugs were addressed this period, as efforts centered on feature delivery and code quality in frontend development.
