During October 2024, Aden Pun focused on improving UI reliability in the actualbudget/actual repository by addressing a visual bug on the Schedules page. Aden identified and fixed an issue where the Name field displayed an incorrect color, ensuring the disabled text color now appears only when the schedule name is null or undefined. This solution involved careful frontend debugging and change management using JavaScript and TypeScript, with all changes clearly documented in the release notes for traceability. Although no new features were shipped, Aden’s work prioritized user experience, visual consistency, and maintainability, demonstrating strong skills in bug fixing and frontend development.
