Worked on the percona/percona-server-mongodb repository, focusing on enhancing the join optimizer component by improving the clarity and consistency of its internal documentation. Addressed a documentation bug by correcting typographical and grammatical errors within code comments, ensuring that the technical intent and logic were more accessible to future maintainers and new contributors. No functional or logic changes were introduced, maintaining the stability of the C++ codebase while elevating its maintainability. Demonstrated careful git workflow and issue-tracking practices throughout the process. This work supports long-term project sustainability by reducing onboarding friction and future maintenance costs through improved documentation standards.
