Applied backend development skills in Python to update the grouping logic within get_depreciable_asset_depr_schedules_data, ensuring asset name, category, and company were included alongside schedule name for correct data aggregation. Enhanced test coverage and reliability by resolving a failing pro-rata depreciation test and refining test assertions to better reflect real-world asset groupings. Maintained clear documentation and traceability through a single, well-described commit, supporting auditability and release readiness in asset management workflows without introducing new features.
