Worked on the 8848digital/Assets repository to deliver company-based filtering across asset-related financial reports, including the Fixed Asset Register, Asset Depreciation Ledger, and Asset Depreciations and Balances. Implemented server-side support for company-scoped filtering using an asset_category_filter, enabling finance teams to segment data by company, asset, category, and cost center. This backend development effort, utilizing JavaScript and Python, streamlined data analysis by reducing manual filtering and supporting cost-center aligned decision making. The work established a consistent approach to analytics in asset reporting, with incremental, traceable commits and no major defects reported during the development period. No bugs were fixed.
