Aastha Sahoo developed advanced simulation features for the JdeRobot/RoboticsInfrastructure and RoboticsAcademy repositories, focusing on autonomous driving and robotics environments. She built detailed 3D vehicle models and simulation assets, integrating sensors such as lidar and cameras using Python and SDF. Her work included creating a Waymo autoparking vehicle model and a hatchback car junction environment in Gazebo, enabling realistic scenario testing and algorithm validation. Aastha also improved code quality through comprehensive linting and formatting, enhancing maintainability across Python and WebGUI modules. Her contributions demonstrated depth in robotics simulation, asset management, and ROS2 integration, supporting robust, modular development workflows.

August 2025: Delivered core autonomous simulation capabilities and code quality improvements across the RoboticsInfrastructure and RoboticsAcademy repositories.
